Analysis of the tourist situation of the Christopher Columbus Necropolis in Havana, Cuba

Resumo: In recent years, several authors have investigated the exploitation of cemeteries as a tourist product. The research problem in this case study was based on the need to update the Christopher Columbus Necropolis in Havana for its management as a tourist product, with the general objective of analyzing its current tourist situation, and the strategies adopted for the demand, economic, social and environmental. The use of various techniques and tools in the basic research of this article determined the potential of the entity as a tourist product to be updated, guaranteed by the value of its carrying capacity, which allows it to maintain an adequate level of property management for visitor satisfaction, as long as there are no changes in its official use and the conservation of its heritage.
