Resumo: The effectiveness of the college extension programs as pillars of High Education can only be achieved through the improvement of their results and impact on the groups they are meant for. Evaluation is one of the strategies that may contributeto such improvements; thus, this paper proposes a plan for institutional self evaluation and, mainly, specifies the criteria to be used in evaluating the extensionpractices.
