Resumo: The article aims to discuss the context of racism in Brazil and the implications for public policies of affirmative action, more specifically in the so-called quota law. To this end, it will use the testimonies of black women, among the authors of the article itself, who have experienced such public policy for admission to the university; fragments of clinical cases and a critical analysis of some elements involved in this intersection between racism and affirmative action. It will seek to discuss in an introductory way, the effects both for black subjects who enter, and for the university itself. Emphasizing how the process of becoming black can include as a fundamental element, the entrance to the university itself. Psychoanalysis in Freud and Lacan will be the orientation for the course of such discussions.

Para ello, utilizará los testimonios de mujeres negras, entre las autoras del propio artículo, que han vivido tal política pública de ingreso a la universidad; fragmentos de casos clínicos y un análisis crítico de algunos elementos involucrados en esta intersección entre racismo y acción afirmativa. Se buscará discutir de manera introductoria, los efectos tanto para los sujetos negros que ingresan, como para la propia universidad. Enfatizando cómo el proceso de volverse negro puede incluir como elemento fundamental, el propio ingreso a la universidad. El psicoanálisis en Freud y Lacan será la orientación para el curso de tales discusiones.O artigo propõe discutir o contexto do racismo no Brasil e as implicações nas políticas públicas de ações afirmativas, mais especificamente na chamada lei de cotas. Para tal, se valerá de depoimentos de mulheres negras, dentre as autoras do próprio artigo, que vivenciaram tal política pública de ingresso na universidade; fragmentos de casos clínicos e uma análise crítica de alguns elementos envolvidos neste entrecruzamento entre racismo e ações afirmativas. Buscará discutir de modo introdutório, os efeitos tanto para sujeitos negros e negras que ingressam, quanto para a própria universidade. Destacando como o processo de tornar-se negro pode incluir como elemento fundamental, o próprio ingresso na universidade.
