Crossed Discourses: the Religious Discourse of Candomblé About the Transgender

Resumo: The debate on diversity and gender identity has raised questions of different natures. In this way, this work will analyze how the understanding of the transgender person (Trans*) is built within the religious discourse of Candomblé, from the study of the pronouncement, broadcast on social networks on the internet, of an authority of this religion. In a qualitative approach, French Discourse Analysis in Pêcheux's theory, will allow to enter the ideologies that permeate the discourse itself, which together with ethnography, will compose the methodological theoretical body of this work. Thus, to understand how transgenderism, as well as transsexuality, have their legitimacy granted and how they are understood within this discourse.

Neste caminho, este trabalho irá analisar como está construído o entendimento da pessoa transgênero (Trans*) dentro do discurso religioso do Candomblé, a partir do estudo do pronunciamento, veiculado em redes sociais da internet, de uma autoridade desta religião. Em uma abordagem qualitativa a Análise de Discurso francesa, na linha de pecheutiana, permitirá adentrar as ideologias que permeiam o próprio discurso, que junto à etnografia, comporá o corpo teórico metodológico deste trabalho.
