Neste depoimento pretendo fazer um passeio pela experiência de doze meses no Centro de Memória da PUC Minas. Para isso, destaco a oportunidade que representou o Centro de Memória em minha trajetória académica e profissional. Aproveito esse espaço, para dividir alguns elementos da pesquisa sobre a Escola Superior de Cinema, implantada na Universidade Católica em 1962. A narrativa acerca dessa pesquisa, leva-nos a apontar as principais agências financiadoras da iniciação científica no Estado de Minas Gerais e no país, bem como da formação continuada. Enfim, destaco a importância de redes profissionais, que otimizam as oportunidades do bacharel e licenciado em história. AbstractIn this testimony, my intention is to present my twelve-month experience in the Centre of Memory of PUC-Minas. For such, I emphasize the opportunity represented by the Centre of Memory in my academic and professional trajectory. I also benefit from this space to share some elements of investigation regarding the Superior School of Cinema, established in the Catholic University in 1962. In the narrative about this investigation, I point out the main financial agencies of scientific initiation as well as continuous formation in Minas Gerais State and around the country. Finally, I highlight the importance of professional nets, optimizing the opportunities of the bachelor in History.Key words: Memory; Investigation; Profession.
