Teaching) Work, Neoliberalism and the Production of Subjectivities in Global Capitalism: Evidence of the “New Way of the World” in the Digital Age

Resumo: Research indicates that the factory of neoliberal subject produces individuals (including teachers) who become entrepreneurs of themselves and controllers of their own rules, goals and results. Thus, the objective of this article is to analyze aspects of the tense and fertile field that involves the world of teaching work and neoliberalism, seeking to understand how the production of subjectivities occurs in this context understood as global capitalism. In this study carried out with university professors, which is part of a research network on teaching work, the data reveal how the work has been modified due to phenomena of different orders that it in its various dimensions. The research methodology was based on a qualitative approach and included interviews with higher education professors, whose answers were treated using the content analysis. It was found that many changes have occurred, related to the pace of work that teachers currently face, considering several issues that refer to the intensification of teaching work; digital technological resources play a role in this process and are configured as a phenomenon that contributes to possible transformations in subjects and in society; and the production of subjectivities have been traversed by these poignant innovations that reach us due to technological innovations and social media with which subjects establish relationships.

Así, el objetivo de este artículo es analizar aspectos del campo tenso y fértil que involucra el mundo del trabajo (docentes) y el neoliberalismo, buscando comprender cómo se produce la producción de subjetividades en este contexto entendido como capitalismo global. En este estudio realizado con profesores universitarios, que forma parte de una red de investigación sobre el trabajo docente, los datos revelan cómo el trabajo se ha modificado debido a fenómenos de distinto orden que lo atraviesan en sus diversas dimensiones. La metodología de la investigación se basó en un enfoque cualitativo e incluyó entrevistas a profesores de educación superior, cuyas respuestas fueron tratadas mediante la técnica el análisis de contenido. Se constató que se han producido muchos cambios, relacionados con el ritmo de trabajo que enfrentan actualmente los docentes, considerando varios temas que se refieren a la intensificación del trabajo docente; los recursos tecnológicos digitales juegan un papel en este proceso y se configuran como un fenómeno que contribuye a posibles transformaciones en los sujetos y en la sociedad; y la producción de subjetividades han sido atravesadas por estas innovaciones conmovedoras que nos llegan gracias a las innovaciones tecnológicas y las redes sociales con las que los sujetos se relacionan.Pesquisas indicam que a fábrica do sujeito neoliberal produz indivíduos (incluindo os docentes) que se tornam empresários de si e controladores de suas próprias regras, metas e resultados. Assim, o objetivo deste artigo é analisar aspectos sobre o campo tenso e fértil que envolve o mundo do trabalho (docente) e do neoliberalismo, buscando compreender como ocorre a produção de subjetividades nesse contexto compreendido como capitalismo global. Neste estudo realizado com professores universitários, que integra uma rede de pesquisas sobre trabalho docente, os dados revelam como o trabalho tem sido modificado em razão dos fenômenos de diversas ordens que o atravessam em suas várias dimensões. A metodologia da pesquisa baseou-se na abordagem qualitativa e incluiu entrevistas com docentes do ensino superior e cujas respostas foram tratadas a partir da análise de conteúdo.
