Subjectivity in and by language: the construction of the teaching identity

Resumo: | This article aims to approach the construction of teacher identity through the bias of subjectivity in language. In order to do so, the theoretical contribution that underlies this proposal, known as benvenistian studies, is initially presented. Following with a brief foray into buberian philosophy, as well as the look of some scholars of Education, as to how the teacher sees and constructs himself as a teacher, demonstrating, also, some of the external influences (cultural, social etc.) that interfere in this process of constituting teacher’s identity. Finally, an analysis regarding some teachers’ discourses that talk about how they see themselves as teachers is carried out, as well as how the professional in general is seen, in order to show how they are marked in and by language and how they manifest the subjectivity in the process of constructing their teaching identity. |

Para ello, inicialmente se presenta el aporte teórico que fundamenta esta propuesta, los estudios benvenistianos, seguidos de una breve incursión por la filosofía buberiana, así como por la mirada de algunos estudiosos de la Educación, en cuanto a cómo el docente se ve y se construye como profesor, demostrando, además, algunas de las influencias externas (culturales, sociales etc.) que interfieren en ese proceso de constitución de la identidad docente. Por último, se hace un análisis de algunos discursos de profesores que hablan de cómo se ven como docentes, así como ven el profesional de manera general, a fin de demostrarse de qué forma se marcan en la y por la lenguage y cómo por ella manifiestan la subjetividad en el proceso de construcción de su identidad docente.Este artigo tem por objetivo abordar a construção da identidade docente pelo viés da subjetividade na linguagem. Para isso, inicialmente é apresentado o aporte teórico que fundamenta essa proposta, os estudos benvenistianos, seguidos de uma breve incursão pela filosofia buberiana, assim como pelo olhar de alguns estudiosos da Educação, quanto a como o docente se vê e se constrói como professor, demonstrando, ainda, algumas das influências externas (culturais, sociais etc.) que interferem nesse processo de constituição docente.
