Resumo: In 2022 in the context of sequential Portuguese courses for speakers of other languages in an extension program, a pronunciation course in Portuguese for speakers of other languages was offered in remote modality. At that moment, the need for a pronunciation course and the challenge of working with focus on phonetic-phonological aspects in a remote course were considered, with the possibility of non-engagement of the participants, connectivity problems and poor audio quality. The offering of the course took place and, after its conclusion, with the present work, we aim to present reflections about the preparation of it, the observed results (based on class and planning notes) and its contribution to continuing teacher training of a Portuguese for foreigners teacher. With the activities planned for the course “Sounds and Rhythms: pronunciation in Brazilian Portuguese for speakers of other languages”, offered by the Center for Teaching Foreign Languages (CELE), of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), the aim was to contribute for the development of students’ phonological awareness (Alves, 2012; Kivistö-De Souza, 2021). For the construction of the course, we considered the notions of task (Ellis, 2009) and literomusical literacy (Coelho de Souza, 2015), in addition to the notion of phonological awareness, previously presented (Alves, 2012; Kivistö-de Souza, 2021). From the qualitative analysis of engagement in activities and the development of phonological awareness skills by students in the course, it was understood that the proposal contributed leading us to reflections on pronunciation in contexts of significant social practices, as well as to the observation of the regularities of the variable phonological rules by the students, in contextualized practices. The results obtained in the context of the extension course, whose purpose is also continuing education, contributed to the increased interest of the teacher, one of the authors of this article, in phonetic-phonological acquisition.

En el presente trabajo, se objetiva presentar reflexiones acerca de la preparación del curso, de los resultados observados (a partir de los apuntes de clase y de planeamiento) y de la contribución para la formación continua de una docente de portugués como lengua extranjera. Las clases fueron impartidas en el curso “Sonidos y Ritmos: pronunciación en portugués brasileño para hablantes de otras lenguas”, ofertado por el Centro de Enseñanza de Lenguas Extranjeras (CELE), de la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande (FURG). El interés principal de las clases era el desarrollo de consciência fonológica (Alves, 2012; Kivistö-de Souza, 2021). Para la elaboración del curso, se consideró las nociones de tarea (Ellis, 2009), letramento literomusical (Coelho de Souza, 2015), además de la noción de conciencia fonológica presentada anteriormente (Alves, 2012; Kivistö-De-Souza, 2021). Con base en análisis cualitativas de participación de las actividades y del desarrollo de las habilidades de conciencia fonológica por los/las estudiantes em el curso, se comprendió que la propuesta contribuyó para el desarrollo de las reflexiones docentes sobre la pronunciación en contextos de prácticas sociales significativas y para la observación de las regularidades de las reglas fonológicas variables por los estudiantes. Los resultados obtenidos en contexto del curso de extensión, cuya propuesta es también la formación docente continua, contribuyeron para el aumento de interés de la docente, una de las autoras del presente artículo, por los temas en adquisición fonético-fonológica.No contexto de oferta de cursos sequenciais de português para falantes de outras línguas na extensão, ofereceu-se, em 2022, na modalidade remota, um curso de pronúncia em português para falantes de outras línguas. Nesse momento, considerou-se a necessidade de um curso de pronúncia e o desafio de se trabalhar com foco em elementos fonético-fonológicos em um curso remoto, com possibilidades de não engajamento dos(as) participantes e de problemas de conectividade e de baixa qualidade de áudio. A oferta ocorreu e, após a sua conclusão, com o presente trabalho, objetiva-se apresentar reflexões acerca da preparação desse curso, dos resultados observados (a partir de anotações de aula e de planejamento) e de sua contribuição para a formação docente. Com as atividades planejadas para o curso “Sons e Ritmos: pronúncia em português brasileiro para falantes de outras línguas”, ofertado pelo Centro de Ensino de Línguas Estrangeiras (CELE), da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG), visou-se ao desenvolvimento de consciência fonológica em língua adicional pelos aprendizes (ALVES, 2012; KIVISTÖ-DE SOUZA, 2021). Para a construção do curso, partiu-se das noções de tarefa (ELLIS, 2009) letramento literomusical (SOUZA, 2015), além da noção de consciência fonológica, anteriormente apresentada (ALVES, 2012; KIVISTÖ-DE-SOUZA, 2021). A partir da análise qualitativa do engajamento às atividades e do desenvolvimento de habilidades de consciência fonológica pelos(as) estudantes no curso, compreendeu-se que a proposta contribuiu para reflexões docentes sobre a pronúncia em contextos de práticas sociais significativas, bem como para a observação das regularidades das regras fonológicas variáveis pelos(as) estudantes, em tarefas contextualizadas.
