Resumo: Bullying is a social phenomenon increasingly studied in the various fields of science. There are several approaches that can be given to this theme, due to its multidisciplinarity and several are the effects arising from the installation of a process of psychoterrorism. The effects of this phenomenon affect the human dignity of the worker, causing physical and psychological problems, affecting the work environment, the company and society. It is a problem in human relations, and lately it has been under intense study, but in business discussions on bullying is still a taboo to be tackled. Today, there are several anti-bullying prevention policies and, in some cases, there is also support for the victim after the harassment has been established. To society, it is necessary to discuss and combat this practice so that other workers do not suffer from the same evil. The present study has the objective to evaluate the moral harassment in the labor relation, as well as to analyze the legal consequences of this behavior

Várias são as abordagens que podem ser dadas a esta temática, diante de sua multidisciplinaridade e diversos são os efeitos decorrentes da instalação de um processo de psicoterror. Os efeitos deste fenômeno atentam contra a dignidade humana do trabalhador, causando problemas físicos, psicológicos, afetando o ambiente de trabalho, a empresa e a sociedade. É um problema existente nas relações humanas e, ultimamente, tem passado por intensos estudos, mas nas empresas as discussões sobre assédio moral ainda é um tabu a ser enfrentado. Hoje, há diversas políticas de prevenção contra o assédio moral e, em alguns casos também, há apoio à vítima, após o assédio ser instaurado. À sociedade, cabe discutir e combater essa prática para que outros trabalhadores não sofram do mesmo mal.
