The present work has the objective to know and to demonstrate the importance of the lease guarantees agreements to location’s contract, boarding yours concept, characterists, advantages and disadvantages, as well the principals alterations occurred in the legislation about this theme. It was really necessary the apresentation of the inicial concepts about the location theme in order to build a logic argument about it. After that, it has been presented the guarantees modalities and the most important changes that had occurred in the location law, mainly about the bail, that shown to be devoid of legal safety, with a lot of controversies adversities that could result in bag damage to the guarantor. Furthermore, before getting in the principal theme, it has been have a general catch of the location contract of a turban building and of the different kinds of the guarantees locations, so, after that, it has been explored the main theme of this work, based in the doctrine opinions and the jurisprudence. Besides, we get into the extension of the contract for indefinitely time and the guarantees until the effective keys delivery, and the possibility of resignation of the guarantor, as well the validity about his resignation and, to finish, the possibility or not about the pawn of the “bem de família” of the guarantor. Finally, it has been presented the conclusion, adopting, when it was possible, a point of view
