This study emphasizes an instrument of collective tutelage that has been increasingly used in the scope of Labor Justice to bring application and effectiveness to labor rights, that is, Public Civil Action in Labor Law. The peculiarities of the Public Civil Action in the labor scope, such as the legitimacy, applicability, jurisdiction, res judicata, appeals and execution and settlement of the judgment will be addressed. Moreover, when talking about Public Civil Action, we can’t fail to highlight other extrajudicial instruments that also help in the search for collective tutelage of rights, which are the Public Civil Inquiry and the Term of Adjustment of Conduct. Thus, we conclude that the Public Civil Action is an instrument of great value also in Labor Law, since through this instrument it is possible to seek protection from the threat or injury of metaindividual right related to the employment relationship, increasing results and effectiveness to large-scale labor rights, for example, to a class of workers
