Resumo: This research had the objective of investigating the teacher formation and the establishment of the Know-how of teachers of Profession Education (EP), for the use of Active Methodology (MA) in the classroom. The objective is to research on a constitution of know-how and setting up of such professionals, for the use of MA. The research problem focused on educational formation of these teachers and if it can offer them subsidies to develop works with MA in the classroom. We conducted a qualitative research with the participation of teachers from a Technical School (ET), located in the Municipality of São Paulo and maintained by Paula Souza Center (CPS). For a data collection, we used an open-ended questionnaire, analysis of the training of professionals and their knowledge and use of MA. Through bibliographical research, we established a theory in the studies of Antonio Nóvoa (1991, 1992, 1999), Ivor Goodson (1992), Maurice Tardif (1999, 2000, 2002, 2003), Selma Garrido Pimenta (1993), authors who deal with the constitution of theoretical and practical knowledge of professors and contributions of Paulo Freire (1996, 2006), whose works show the MA and the problematization as driving forces of education and training of critical and reflexive subjects. The relevance of this research is related to the importance that has been given to EP in the last decades, as a driver of the formation of the worker capable to meet the requirements of the labor market and the production system, as well as their capacity to mobilize skills that are part of everyday production, especially those that circumscribe themselves to the problem resolution, decision-making and the autonomy. EPs teachers are required knowledge that be able to propose working methods that privilege the reflection, the critical positioning, the autonomy and the search for knowledge, essential factors in the world of work. The results of the analysis of interviews and research bibliography has indicated that a traditional view of the EP in Brazil persists, as a consequence of the colonial heritage, a time when the learning of the craft was intended to the lower stratum of the population and masters was required the mastery of functions to teach learners. As a consequence, a training of teachers to act in the EP is justified in the belief that the know-how and setting up teachers necessary for practices are those acquired in a daily atmosphere of work and production, there is no need a scientific background. Consequently, the teachers' practices are sometimes, unintentional, improvised, empirical and dependent on trial and error, and formulas already tested by other teachers. This enables professionals deal with the curiosity, questioning, formulation of hypotheses made by students due to the face of a problem posed from the use of the MA in the classroom, generate situations that, well directed, would produce a more meaningful and contextualized teaching, able to develop the reflexion, criticality, autonomy and the protagonism of these students

O objetivo é pesquisar sobre a constituição dos saberes e fazeres docentes desses profissionais, para a utilização de MA. O problema de pesquisa focou na formação docente desses professores e se ela tem dado conta de oferecer subsídios a eles para que desenvolvam o trabalho com MA em sala de aula. Realizamos uma pesquisa qualitativa, que contou com a participação de professores de uma Escola Técnica (ET), localizada no município de São Paulo e mantida pelo Centro Paula Souza (CPS). Para a coleta dos dados, utilizamos um questionário de perguntas abertas, as quais tiveram por finalidade permitir a análise da formação desses profissionais e o seu conhecimento e utilização de MA. Através de pesquisa bibliográfica, baseamos a fundamentação teórica nos estudos de Antonio Nóvoa (1991, 1992, 1999), Ivor Goodson (1992), Maurice Tardif (1999, 2000, 2002, 2003), Selma Garrido Pimenta (1993), autores que tratam da constituição dos saberes teóricos e práticos dos professores e nas contribuições de Paulo Freire (1996 e 2006), cujas obras evidenciam as MA e a problematização como impulsionadoras da educação e formação de sujeitos críticos e reflexivos. A relevância desta pesquisa relaciona-se à importância que se tem dado nas últimas décadas ao EP, como propulsor da formação do trabalhador capaz de atender às exigências do mercado de trabalho e do sistema produtivo, bem como de sua capacidade para mobilizar competências que fazem parte do cotidiano da produção, sobretudo aquelas que se circunscrevem à resolução de problemas, tomada de decisões e autonomia. Do professor de EP são exigidos saberes que deem conta de propor métodos de trabalho que privilegiem o refletir, o posicionamento crítico, a autonomia e a busca pelo conhecimento, fatores fundamentais no mundo do trabalho. Os resultados da análise das entrevistas e da pesquisa bibliográfica indicaram que persiste uma visão tradicional do EP no Brasil, consequência da herança colonial, época em que o aprendizado dos ofícios era destinado às camadas mais baixas da população e dos mestres era exigido o domínio das funções para o ensino dos aprendizes. Consequentemente, a formação de professores para atuar no EP é fundamentada na crença de que os saberes e fazeres docentes necessários para a atuação são aqueles adquiridos no cotidiano do trabalho e da produção, não havendo a necessidade de uma formação científica. Em consequência, as práticas desses professores configuram-se, muitas vezes, como não intencionais, improvisadas, empíricas e dependentes da tentativa e erro e de fórmulas já testadas por outros professores. Isso inviabiliza a possibilidade desses profissionais lidarem com a curiosidade, o questionamento e a formulação de hipóteses pelos alunos, diante de um problema colocado e do uso das MA em sala de aula, para gerar situações que, bem direcionadas, produziriam um ensino mais significativo e contextualizado, capaz de desenvolver a reflexão, a criticidade, a autonomia e o protagonismo desses alunosapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/41911/Alessandra%20Martins%20Souza.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Educação: Formação de FormadoresPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de EducaçãoEducação permanenteProfessores - Formação profissionalEducação profissionalTeacher’s knowledgeTeacher trainingProfessional educationCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAOAs metodologias ativas na prática de docentes do ensino profissionalinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTAlessandra Martins Souza.pdf.txtAlessandra Martins Souza.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain206998https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/19969/4/Alessandra%20Martins%20Souza.pdf.txt1b5fad93d03425b898d3cd75cf201a2bMD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
