Sexuality is an integral part of being human, characterized as pleasurable intercourse with the world, going far beyond the reproductive and biological aspects. Sexual orientation in this context is defined as the systematic process of intervention in the area of sexuality that usually happens in the school context. In 1998 the Sexual Orientation becomes a cross- curricular component via the approval of NCP. This work is in a literature search and exploratory trait and aims to analyze how the Sexual Orientation in this PCN component regulates Sexual Orientation available schools and how these are realized in the school context. Still experience a differentiated approach work that happens at Weathervane Cultural Museum, the workshop “Preventing teen pregnancy " which is based on a thematic approach psychodrama . The work is presented in three chapters, which aim to clarify the conceptions of sexuality and sexual orientation, Freud's contribution on the theme , the historical account of the inclusion of sexual orientation in Brazilian education , the analysis of the NCP highlighting the component orientation sexual and experience of the workshop " Preventing Youth pregnancy." Conclude that it is important to recognize the progress that the inclusion of sexual orientation as a curricular component provided the Brazilian education, however, is fundamentally a critical view of the speech delivered by the NCP. We also highlight the wealth of experience that happens at the Weathervane Museum as a new perspective to reflect on working with sexual orientation.
