O diálogo entre unidades escolares de Educação Infantil e o Centro de Formação e Acompanhamento à Inclusão – CEFAI

Resumo: The present work was conducted through literature search and field research, in order to discuss about the dialogue between the schools of the Municipal Early Childhood Education of the State of Sao Paulo and the Center for Training and Monitoring Inclusion (Centro de Formação e Acompanhamento à Inclusão – CEFAI), service offered by the municipality. From a historic retreat on Special Education in Brazil, many issues were raised such as: how specialized institutions influenced all inclusive process; which advances the legislations made in this direction; the context in which support services appears and how it became an indispensable part in the process of inclusion. Is also presented how the Early Childhood Education has been building its identity and which role it plays today in brazilian education. Through a critical analysis, the points raised in the questionnaire did to a group of teachers of School District Early Childhood Education (Escola Municipal de Educação Infantil – EMEI), belonging to the DRE FÓ/Brasilândia, was made a reflection between the school reality and what is predicted by legislation, in which is referred to the supportive care conducted by the CEFAI in Early Childhood Education

A partir de um recuo histórico sobre a Educação Especial no Brasil, foram levantados alguns pontos relevantes como: de que maneira as instituições especializadas influenciaram todo o processo inclusivo; quais avanços a legislação apresentou nesse sentido; o contexto em que surgem os serviços de apoio e como se transformaram em parte imprescindível no processo inclusivo. Também é apresentado, como a Educação Infantil foi construindo sua identidade e que papel exerce hoje dentro da educação brasileira.
