This monograph is intended to present the experience of the program Guri Santa Marcelina – GSM and how it implements a continuing training education with teachers and a new voice area curriculum, developed by the manager and teachers. The changes seek to align the work routine with the principles of the program, bringing a curriculum guided by the legacy and principles of Paulo Freire - popular education, focused, in this case, on music education and socio-cultural inclusion of children and adolescents aged 6-18 years and their families in São Paulo and the cities around. In particular, this monograph wants to analyze the contributions of school management in this transformation process. To support this analysis, will be reported how was the transition process and what were the tools used to enhance the continuing education - since the idea until the reaction of those who were directly involved in change. The first chapter will be described the history of the program Guri Santa Marcelina and its curriculum. The second chapter will analyze the contributions of the manager through leadership and participatory management, showing that these characters perform key roles to achieve academic success or not. The third chapter, finally, will show how continuing education is developing the routine of classes, beyond interviews with the supervisor and teachers who experienced before and now this experience
