O percurso de um professor-estagiário: o desafio de Criar Adesão dos Alunos ao Exercício Físico

Resumo: This document was prepared within the scope of the school placement unit of the second year of the second cycle of studies in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education, at the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto (FADEUP). This document referring to the school placement, carried out for 10 months, with a 10th and 12th year class - in secondary education - and a 2nd cycle class, will address all the phases and all the experiences lived throughout this academic year 2022/2023 as a trainee teacher. During this year it was possible to effectively understand what it means to "be a teacher", as a result of real contact with the school context and all the elements that make it up. From the planning tasks to their operationalization, challenges and difficulties arose that demanded the best of me and allowed me to develop as a teacher. Furthermore, carrying out the study with the 10th grade class allowed me to understand that nothing is impossible, and that regardless of the characteristics of the classes, we can effectively help students achieve something significant in their lives, in this case in the adoption of more active lifestyles. My contribution to the institution that hosted me, the relationship with students and reflective practice also had space in the reflection present in this document. This school placement proved to be crucial in this transition phase where I found myself, due to the real context it offered and which allowed me to put into practice all the knowledge acquired, while I incessantly sought professional development in the different teaching areas.
