Resumo: in the second year of the Masters in Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education, at the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto, I was placed at Escola Secundária das Laranjeiras, located in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores, under the guidance of Doctor Paula Queirós. and cooperating teacher Gabriel Guerreiro, teaching an eighth-grade class. During this internship, it was possible to bridge the gap between all the knowledge acquired in theory during the degree and the first year of the master's degree, with the daily practice of teaching in a classroom environment. This process was quite challenging in itself since theory cannot foresee all practical situations, with which we have to adapt and readjust methodologies and planning in order to deliver the best level of teaching and education possible to students. . Finally, to conclude the internship and this report, a research study was carried out, in which I personally chose to try to verify the impacts of the pandemic on the teaching of Physical Education, reliability of distance learning and methodologies to be adopted in the post-pandemic period to fill the gaps caused by the pandemic in education.
