Resumo: | At the same time that the society if to the new perception of the time, the implantation of the way-of-iron determinative a new image of the city. Today, the stations of the great urban centers occupy social, cultural, and economic a value unquestionable, that, associating it, rethink of the underlying urban space, has contributed for the regeneration and transformation of the territory, leading the handle new intervention processes, under the requirements of reintegration with the existing collective space. In a dependent and intent society the requirements of mobility, the railroad system, the problematic one of these infrastructures, becomes pertinent, that if build in concepts and manifestly paradoxical elements of exception. More than what the capacity associate to the public building of the station, integrated in one weaveeed, the field of study of the present work productive foresees, also, to equate the subject of the "decurrent urban rupture" of the circulation of the convoy, to a widened scale and that compromises the spaces of proximity with the "invisible barrier" of the space canal, wide the urban conception. Specifically with respect to the cases of study Espinho and Porto Campanhã, these are important examples of the value and limitations imposed for railroad infrastructures, therefore, interesting of the point of view of present moment, that they carry out, and its possible mutation in the long run. Realy, although to exist a common theoretical base to the two cases related with the railroad function, they will be, still, boarded the reasons that had lead to the present identity, to the growth process and urban transformation that they mobilize and that, will lead to the setting of new centers, in accordance with the singularity of each one. |
