Resumo: | This work results from the study on the changes in the directions of educational public policies that in the last 12 months have plagued Brazil. These changes are related to the process of breaking the fragile veil of the young and always attacked Brazilian democracy, which led to changes in orientation in various areas of public policy, which are broken off from the syntheses constructed from collective debates. Here we will reflect on the changes in the structure of basic education, more specifically in secondary education, using the various proposals that culminated in the approval of Law 13415 of 2017. We seek to understand the conceptions that permeate the socalled "New High School" dialoguing with Brazilian legislations and authors of education. We understand that the process constructed without participation of society, disregards historical achievements and brings a wording that is causing confusion, regarding the understanding of theobligation of Art in High School, but that the analysis of the law and documents related to its approval demonstrate that Arte remains as an obligatory curricular component in basic education. |
