Resumo: | This report examines business models in the banking industry while putting an in-depth focus on the business model of Neobanks. To evaluate the increasing recognition of the business model of Neobanks, strategic advantages and vulnerabilities are identified, and the robustness of the business model is tested. The business model analysis of Neobanks evokes tech-affine targeted customers and a customer-centric value proposition. At the same time, main components of the organizational architecture are the technology, platform development and maintenance. The economics dimension is marked by a lean cost structure and a concentrated revenue model based on payments services. |
