Non-formal education: perceptions and training potential

This article focuses on non-formal education and on the perceptions and potential identified by students and institutional advisors in non-formal education contexts. Considering their specificities, we wanted to know what perceptions do students and institutional advisors have about the training potential of non-formal contexts and what is their contribution to the initial training of the future educator/teacher. To guide the answer to this question, we outline the following objectives: i) to know and analyze the perceptions of students and institutional advisors about the training potentials recognized in non-formal educational spaces and ii) to understand their contribution to initial training. As data collection instruments, we used a mixed questionnaire survey for students and a questionnaire survey, open questions for institutional advisors. As a data analysis technique, we use statistical analysis and content analysis.
