Aprender a ensinar gramática com abordagens inovadoras: uma experiênia de flexibilidade curricular no ensino superior

Resumo: The course unit Oficina de Gramática da Língua Portuguesa (OGLP) prepares future teachers for teaching grammar in the levels of compulsory schooling. Breaking with the natural limitations of crystallized pedagogical practices, OGLP's pedagogical work has sought to operationalize an «isomorphic conception of training as a project» (Formosinho & Niza, 2009: 123), in order to train teachers for a teaching-learning paradigm based on competencies, with autonomy to respond to current and future pedagogical-didactic challenges. The specificity of its work object and its purposes legitimize the implementation of work dynamics associated with problem-based learning. This article describes the pedagogical model which is the basis for this course unit of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto, focusing on the following topics: description, justification and phases of implementation of the pedagogical strategy, coordination of teaching, learning and evaluation processes, the effort required from students regarding the number of ECT, the components of pedagogical innovation, obtained results and the scientific development carried out up to now.
