Da Ria Formosa ao Oceano Atlântico: A descoberta de novos horizontes no mundo do ensino de Educação Física

Resumo: During the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Schools of the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto, the professional school placement, being the last stage, is presented as the moment of application of knowledge in a real and differentiated context, recognized as a key year of learning for the professional qualification of preservice teacher. This document reports on my experiences during this year of professional training as a preservice teacher, highlighting the role of all those involved, the difficulties experienced throughout the year and ways of solving the problems I encountered, as well as strategies that helped me to offer differentiated teaching that was able to provide effective learning for students. This internship report describes my process of professional development, marked by a 1st period in which the attention was directed to problems of class control, adequacy of tasks to the environment, level of performance of the class and motivation to practice. In the 2nd period, strategies emphasising the social and affective relations of the class, cooperation and responsibility, which had repercussions on the increase of the motor commitment of the class. And finally, in the 3rd period, as a result of the work done in the previous periods, it was possible to consolidate and refine learning. At a transversal level there was always a pedagogical intentionality in the planning of the learning contents, with approaches centred on the students who sought a total knowledge of the game/modality, prioritising their understanding at a tactical level in collective sports. During my pedagogical performance, a study was also developed that focused its objective on the analysis of the specialised content knowledge of the trainee teachers in teaching the sport of volleyball. The internship report ends with a reflection on the pedagogical practice provided, my professional transformation and future perspectives in what is my role of teaching and training.
