Resumo: | Waldorf Pedagogy rises as an alternative pedagogy during the second decade of twenty century. The author of this pedagogy, Rudolf Steiner, tried to develop a pedagogy that allowed the human being to redefine himself in the world through his three dimensions: physical, animic and spiritual. In a time when society was struggling with the pain from World War I, Rudolf Steiner, concerned about children, released this educative system believing in a better future. Steiner based himself on the Triangle that combines Arts, Science and Religion as a base to balance human being natural forces. Arts and hand crafts won a powerful role in Steiner's pedagogy. He believed that arts were the way for the human being to contact with his inner self, with his spiritual dimension. But how does this relation between arts and Waldorf pedagogy works? How do children develop their hand craft skills in this context? Can we also value this artistic skills as non-formal education tools? |
