Approach of Socio-Scientific Issues: mapping of brazilian academic research from 2012 to 2016

Resumo: | Science and Technology questions present in the day to day and full of social, political, economical, ethical and cultural aspects are called Social-scientific Issues. From the Social-scientific Issues that are then questioned and the importance of society on deci-sions and products created by them are featured. The Social-scientific Issues present in day to day discussions about Technology and Science, however, although its importan-ce, limitations are identified for its approach, on the curricular development and of di-dactic materials, in teacher and student formation. Throughout a discipline of Research Trends in Science Teaching the following question arises: What is the panorama and characteristics of the Brazilian academic researches related to the subject Socio-Scien-tific Issues? The importance of issues has taken on for the science teaching, this object-tive to identify through dissertations and theses done on post-graduate Brazilian cour-ses, from 2012 to 2016, information that could guide a prospect of academic publica-tions (dissertations and theses) about Social-scientific Issues and understanding its con-tributions for the Science teaching. Therefore, a research was done about the state and knowledge type, and the organisation and analysis of data from the Content Ana-lyse. The results obtained showed a higher predominance of producti-on of research about Social-scientific Issues in some Brazilian regions and showed the categories of the analyse as a Context, Nature and Degree of Approach of Social-scientific Issues on academic researches that composed the core of this research. |

A partir de las Cuestiones Sociocientíficas la Ciencia y la Tecnología pasan a ser prioridad asuntos como los productos y sus impactos, así como la participación social en relación a esos asuntos. Las Cuestiones Sociocientíficas permean las discusiones cotidianas sobre Ciencia y Tecnología, sin embargo, a pesar de su importancia, se identifican limitaciones para el abordaje de las mismas en el desarrollo curricular, en la elaboración de materiales didácticos, en la formación docente y la de los alumnos. A lo largo de una disciplina de Tendencias de Investigación en Enseñanza de Ciencias surge el siguiente cuestionamiento: ¿Cuál es el panorama y características de las investigaciones académicas brasileñas referentes a la temática Cuestiones Sociocientíficas? Asumiendo la importancia de las Cuestiones Sociocientíficas para la Enseñanza de Ciencias, el objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar por medio de las disertaciones y tesis producidas en cursos brasileños de postgrado, en el período de 2012 a 2016, informaciones que puedan guiar un panorama de las publicaciones académicas (disertaciones y tesis) sobre Cuestiones Sociocientíficas y comprender las contribuciones de esta temática para la Enseñanza de Ciencias. Para ello se realizó una investigación del tipo estado del conocimiento, y los datos fueron organizados y analizados usando como metodología el Análisis de Contenido. Los resultados obtenidos revelan un mayor predominio de la producción de investigaciones sobre Cuestiones Sociocientíficas en determinadas regiones brasileñas y presentan las categorías de análisis como el Contexto, la Naturaleza y el Grado de Enfoque de las Cuestiones Sociocientíficas en las investigaciones académicas que constituyeron el corpus de esta investigación.Questões da Ciência e Tecnologia presentes no cotidiano e permeadas por aspectos sociais, políticos, econômicos, éticos, culturais são denominadas Questões Sociocientíficas. E é a partir das Questões Sociocientíficas que Ciência e Tecnologia passam a ser questionadas considerando a importância da sociedade nas decisões e produtos por elas produzidas, ganhando, portanto, destaque. As Questões Sociocientíficas permeiam as discussões cotidianas sobre Ciência e Tecnologia, entretanto, apesar da sua importância, identificam-se limitações para sua abordagem no desenvolvimento curricular e de materiais didáticos, na formação docente e discente. Ao longo de uma disciplina de Tendências de Pesquisa em Ensino de Ciências surge o seguinte questionamento: qual o panorama e características das pesquisas acadêmicas brasileiras referentes a temática Questões Sociocientíficas? Diante da importância que estas questões têm assumido para o Ensino de Ciências, este trabalho tem como objetivo identificar por meio das dissertações e teses produzidas em cursos brasileiros de pós-graduação, no período de 2012 a 2016, informações que possam nortear um panorama das publicações acadêmicas (dissertações e teses) sobre Questões Sociocientíficas e compreender as contribuições desta temática para o Ensino de Ciências. Para tanto, foi realizado uma pesquisa do tipo Estado do conhecimento. A organização e análise dos dados ocorreram a partir da técnica de Análise de Conteúdo.
