Resumo: This document is part of the curricular unit Professional Internship of the 2nd study cycle for the degree of Master in Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Education. The Professional Internship represents the culmination of academic training and the initial difficulties with the actual practice of teaching, aims above all to confront theory with practice converging in a significant professional experience. This document refers to a supervised teaching practice in a school in the district of Porto, in the school year of 2021/2022. Pero Vaz de Caminha School is located in an economically and socially disadvantaged area, marked by poverty, school dropout, social exclusion and indiscipline, is characterized in Portuguese Government overall direction as a TEIP school - School Territory of Priority Intervention, based on a positive discrimination policy and focusing on the fight against school failure. This supervised teaching practice process provide to the Intern Students an authentic experience that supports the teaching of Physical Education under the presence of a nucleus of internship composed of four trainee teachers and the supervision of two duly specialized education professionals. A cooperating teacher at the school level and a guiding professor from the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. This report reflects a ground-breaking experience as a trainee student, within the real context of the teaching practice, in terms of the most significant experiences, the difficulties encountered, the lessons learnt, and the strategies implemented that contributed to the student's professional development.
