The academic production on educational policies in the research line Education History and Policy of the UEPG PPGE: what is involved in the choice of research objects?

Resumo: This article is the result of a master's research carried out in the area of ​​educational policies, which aimed to develop an analysis of the methodological and theoretical-epistemological aspects of theses and dissertations linked to the Graduate Program in Education at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), in the line of Education History and Policy. Ninety-three works produced from 1996 to 2019 were analyzed. In this article, a cut of the total analysis was considered, involving only the questions relevant to the subjective dimensions that involved the process of choosing objects and theoretical-epistemological perspectives by the researchers. The theoretical framework used is anchored in Pierre Bourdieu's theory of social fields, specifically considering the concepts of scientific field, habitus and interest. We also considered the formulations of the Approach to Epistemologies of Educational Policy (EEPE) developed by Tello (2012), and Tello and Mainardes (2015), together with Mainardes’ studies (2018, 2021) addressing the conceptual and methodological elements of the meta-research in the field of Educational Policy. As a result, it is pointed out that, despite the justification of the authors' objects and a strong correspondence with the supervisors' research themes, there is still a limitation in relation to explaining the theoretical-epistemological perspective. En total, se analizaron 93 obras, desde 1996 hasta 2019. En este artículo, se consideró un corte del análisis total, englobando solo las preguntas pertinentes a las dimensiones subjetivas que involucraron el proceso de elección de objetos y perspectivas teórico-epistemológicas por parte de los investigadores El marco teórico utilizado está anclado en la teoría de los campos sociales de Pierre Bourdieu, considerando específicamente los conceptos de campo científico, habitus e interés. Conjuntamente, se consideraron las formulaciones del Enfoque de Epistemologías de la Política Educativa (EEPE) desarrollado por Tello (2012), Tello y Mainardes (2015), junto con los estudios de Mainardes (2018, 2021), referentes a los elementos conceptuales y metodológicos de la meta-investigación en el campo de la Política Educativa. Como resultado, se apunta que, a pesar de la justificación de los objetos de los autores y una fuerte correspondencia con los temas de investigación de los directores, aún existe una limitación en relación a la explicación de la perspectiva teórico-epistemológica. Programa de Posgrado en Educación (UEPG).Esse artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa de mestrado realizada na área das políticas educacionais, a qual teve como objetivo desenvolver uma análise dos aspectos metodológicos e teórico-epistemológicos de teses e dissertações vinculadas ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG), na linha de pesquisa História e Política Educacionais. Ao todo, foram analisados 93 trabalhos, do período de 1996 a 2019. Neste artigo, considerou-se um recorte da análise total, envolvendo apenas as questões pertinentes às dimensões subjetivas que envolveram o processo de escolha dos objetos e perspectivas teórico-epistemológicas, por parte dos pesquisadores. O referencial teórico utilizado está ancorado na teoria dos campos sociais, de Pierre Bourdieu, considerando de modo específico os conceitos de campo científico, habitus e interesse. Concomitantemente, consideraram-se as formulações do Enfoque das Epistemologias da Política Educacional (EEPE), desenvolvidas por Tello (2012), Tello e Mainardes (2015), juntamente com os estudos de Mainardes (2018, 2021), referentes aos elementos conceituais e metodológicos da metapesquisa no campo da Política Educacional. Como resultados, aponta-se que, apesar de haver justificativa dos objetos dos autores (dissertações e teses) e uma forte correspondência com os temas de pesquisa dos orientadores, há ainda limitação em relação a explicitar a perspectiva teórico-epistemológica.
