Resumo: Abstract: This study aimed to understand what scholars think about the offer and relevance of the Brazilian Education and Public Policy Organization for the process of teacher education of undergraduate students of a federal public higher education institution. The study also sought to understand the level of student interest in political issues and their involvement and experience in school life in collective decision-making spaces. From the faculties of Portuguese/ French, Portuguese/English, Portuguese/Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Physical Education, Pedagogy and Chemistry; and students of the Bachelor's Degree in History, 52 students participate.   Keywords: Educational Policy. Teacher training.Resumen: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comprender lo que piensan los académicos sobre la oferta y sobre la relevancia de la asignatura Educación Brasileña y Organización de las Políticas Públicas para el proceso de formación docente de estudiantes de los cursos de licenciatura de una institución pública federal de enseñanza superior brasileira. El estudio también pretendió comprender el nivel de interés de los estudiantes sobre las cuestiones políticas y su implicación y experiencia en la vida escolar en espacios colectivos de toma de decisión. Participaron de la investigación 52 estudiantes de pregrado de Artes Visuales, Biología, Ciencias Sociales, Danza, Educación Física, Geografía, Historia, Música, Literatura, Portugués/ Francés, Portugués/Inglés, Literatura en Lengua Portuguesa, Matemáticas, Pedagogía y Química; y estudiantes del Curso de Bachillerato en Historia.   Palabras clave: Política Educativa. Formación de profesores.Resumo: Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender o que pensam os acadêmicos sobre a oferta e sobre a relevância da disciplina Educação Brasileira e Organização das Políticas Públicas para o processo de formação docente de estudantes dos Cursos de Licenciatura de uma instituição pública federal de Ensino Superior brasileira. O estudo também pretendeu compreender o nível de interesse dos estudantes sobre as questões políticas e seu envolvimento e experiência na vida escolar em espaços coletivos de tomada de decisão. Participaram da pesquisa 52 estudantes oriundos dos Cursos de Licenciatura em Artes Visuais, Biologia, Ciências Sociais, Dança, Educação Física, Geografia, História, Música, Letras-Português/Francês, Letras-Português/Inglês, Letras-Português/Literatura, Matemática, Pedagogia e Química; e estudantes do Curso de Bacharelado em História.   Palavras-chave: Política Educacional.
