Mathematics teaching in virtual environments: a proposal for continuing education for teachers during emergency remote teaching

Resumo: This article aims to present a teaching experience, describing the development of a continuing education course to analyze its trajectory, from planning to execution. The course was developed in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, in partnership with the SBEM regional office in Rio de Janeiro, in 2020, and had as its target audience teachers who teach Mathematics in Brazil, working in Basic and/or Higher Education. Its objective was to present digital resources and virtual environments to teachers who teach Mathematics, and, to this end, several practical activities were proposed based on workshops and lectures, some of them requiring the teacher's creativity to construct an authorial activity or developed it based on curation. Through discussions, the participant teachers indicated that they really needed practice to learn how to work with digital resources, what therefore makes only theory or observation of someone else's practice insufficient.

El curso fue desarrollado en el contexto de la pandemia de Covid-19, en colaboración con la oficina regional de la SBEM en Río de Janeiro, en 2020, y su público objetivo fueron profesores que enseñan Matemáticas en Brasil, actuando en Educación Básica y/o Enseñanza Superior. Su objetivo fue presentar recursos digitales y entornos virtuales a docentes que imparten Matemáticas, y, para ello, se propusieron varias actividades prácticas basadas en talleres y conferencias, algunas de ellas requiriendo la creatividad del docente para construir una actividad autoral o elaborarla. propios de una curaduría. A través de discusiones, los profesores del curso indicaron que realmente necesitaban práctica para aprender a trabajar con recursos digitales, por lo tanto, la teoría o la observación de la práctica de otras personas por sí solas no era suficiente.Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma experiência de ensino, descrevendo o desenvolvimento de um curso de formação continuada para analisar a sua trajetória, do planejamento à execução. O curso foi desenvolvido no contexto da pandemia de Covid-19, em parceria com a regional da SBEM no Rio de Janeiro, em 2020, e teve como público-alvo professores que ensinam Matemática no Brasil, atuantes na Educação Básica e/ou no Ensino Superior. Seu objetivo foi apresentar recursos digitais e ambientes virtuais a professores que ensinam Matemática, e, para tanto, diversas atividades práticas foram propostas a partir de oficinas e palestras, algumas delas exigindo a criatividade do professor para construir uma atividade autoral ou para que a elaborasse a partir de uma curadoria.
