Resumo: To overcome difficulties experienced by teachers in explaining abstract subjects of science and biology, bringing student's interest, we can use Learning Objects. Aiming to evaluate the performance of three interactive simulations in science from PhET online platform, this work used an appropriated protocol for the assessment of learning objects and developed workshops with future teachers. The results show the potential and challenges of these simulations, which were verified in the protocol evaluation and in the workshops. It was evaluated that the tool presents itself as a good didactic teaching strategy and contributes positively to the teaching-learning process. Even with simulations showing some deficient parameters, it was found that the teacher can overcome them by acting as a mediator.

Con el objetivo de evaluar el desempeño de tres simulaciones interactivas en ciencia desde la plataforma online PhET, este trabajo utilizó un protocolo propio para la evaluación de objetos de aprendizaje y desarrolló talleres con futuros profesores. Los resultados muestran los desafíos y el potencial de estas simulaciones, verificados en la evaluación por protocolo y en los talleres. Se evaluó que la herramienta se presenta como una buena estrategia didáctica docente y contribuye positivamente al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Aunque las simulaciones muestran algunos parámetros deficientes, fue verificado que el docente puede superarlos actuando como mediador.Para superar as dificuldades vivenciadas pelos professores ao explicar assuntos abstratos de ciências e de biologia, despertando o interesse do estudante, é possível recorrer às Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação e aos Objetos de Aprendizagem. Objetivando avaliar o desempenho de três simulações interativas em ciências, da plataforma on-line PhET, este trabalho utilizou-se de protocolos de avaliação e desenvolveu oficinas com futuros docentes. Nos resultados são apresentados os desafios e as potencialidades dessas simulações, constatadas nas avaliações e nas oficinas.  Avaliou-se que a ferramenta se apresenta como uma boa estratégia didática de ensino e contribui positivamente no processo de ensino-aprendizagem.
