Resumo: A striking fact in contemporary times, the Sars-Cov-2 (Covid-19) pandemic has impacted the world population in different ways, increasing social inequalities, under the pretext of the perception that the virus that causes it would be equal to all human bodies. Structured in three sections, this work initially presents a systematization of published studies that reveal the impacts of Covid-19 on black populations. Subsequently, we reflect on and from the performance of Social Movements with their knowledge built in anti-racist struggles and the necessary reverberations in the context of teacher education in Biology. We consider it essential to recognize aspects of race/racism when proposing actions related to public health and, in the case of education for ethnic-racial relations in the academic environment, to bring these issues to light in formative curriculum.
