Resumo: | In science teaching, it appears that some biology teachers have already been using some alternative educational resources, such as the use of scientific dissemination texts in addition to textbooks in their teaching practices, to improve student learning. In this sense, the present work aimed to analyze how teachers use scientific dissemination texts and their contribution to the teaching and learning process in State Public Schools in the Municipality of Boa Vista/RR. Regarding the objective of this research, qualitative and descriptive research was approached. Regarding the technical procedures, the field study was used. Thus, to carry out this research, twelve state schools in the capital were selected, of which twenty biology teachers who teach classes to students in the 1st grade of high school agreed to participate in the research. Thus, questionnaires were applied containing thirteen questions alternating between closed and open questions used to research the biology teachers participating in the research. Data analysis was based on the objective of this work. We found in this research that some teachers have been using scientific popularization texts more frequently in addition to textbooks, and using alternative didactic strategies, such as the practice of reading, conducting and discussing debates, solving investigative problems from the research, and holding science fairs. Such strategies are used to contribute to the improvement of student learning in biology teaching. |

Such strategies are used to contribute to the improvement of student learning in biology teaching.En la enseñanza de las ciencias, parece que algunos profesores de biología ya vienen utilizando algunos recursos educativos alternativos, como el uso de textos de divulgación científica además de los libros de texto en sus prácticas docentes, para mejorar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. En ese sentido, el presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo analizar cómo los profesores utilizan textos de divulgación científica y su contribución al proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en las Escuelas Públicas Estaduales del Municipio de Boa Vista/RR. En cuanto al objetivo de esta investigación, se abordó una investigación cualitativa y descriptiva. En cuanto a los procedimientos técnicos, se utilizó el estudio de campo. Así, para llevar a cabo esta investigación se seleccionaron doce colegios públicos de la capital, de los cuales veinte profesores de biología que imparten clases a alumnos del 1° grado de secundaria aceptaron participar en la investigación. Así, se aplicaron cuestionarios que contenían trece preguntas alternando entre preguntas cerradas y abiertas utilizadas para investigar a los profesores de biología participantes en la investigación. El análisis de los datos se basó en el objetivo de este trabajo. Encontramos en esta investigación que algunos docentes vienen utilizando con mayor frecuencia textos de divulgación científica además de los libros de texto, y utilizan estrategias didácticas alternativas, como la práctica de la lectura, la conducción y discusión de debates, la resolución de problemas investigativos a partir de la investigación y la realización de ferias científicas. . Tales estrategias se utilizan para contribuir a la mejora del aprendizaje de los estudiantes en la enseñanza de la biología.No ensino de ciências verifica-se que alguns professores de biologia, já vêm utilizando de alguns recursos educacionais alternativos, como a utilização de textos divulgação científica em complementação aos livros didáticos em suas práticas de ensino, para a melhoria da aprendizagem dos alunos. Neste sentido, o presente trabalho objetivou analisar de que forma os professores utilizam textos de divulgação científica e sua contribuição para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem em Escolas Públicas Estaduais do Município de Boa Vista/RR. Em relação ao objetivo dessa pesquisa abordou-se a pesquisa de cunho qualitativa e descritiva. Já em relação aos procedimentos técnicos empregou-se o estudo de campo. Assim, para a realização desta pesquisa, foram selecionadas doze escolas estaduais da capital, das quais vinte professores de biologia que lecionam aula para alunos da 1º série do ensino médio aceitaram participar da pesquisa. Dessa forma, foram aplicados questionários contendo treze perguntas alternadas entre questões fechadas e abertas utilizadas para pesquisar os professores de biologia participantes da pesquisa. As analise de dados foram com bases no objetivo deste trabalho. Constatamos nessa pesquisa que alguns professores vêm fazendo a utilização dos textos de divulgação científica com mais frequência em complemento aos livros didáticos, e utilizando de estratégias didáticas alternativas, como a prática da leitura, realização e discussão de debates, resolução de problemas investigativos a partir da pesquisa, e na realização de feiras de ciências.
