BETWEEN BALL OF WALL AND MEMORIES: INITIAL TRAINING AND CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Resumo: | We adopted, as theoretical and methodological references, the current legislation for early childhood education and works by authors dealing with this theme. We emphasize the child in two conditions: legal, conception of citizen, subject of rights announced in the documents, and the incarnated child, that is, the one that is constituted through the interaction with the dimensions of historical, social, cultural and spatial materiality. We argue that thinking children by these dimensions is important for the initial education of the teacher, so we assume as an objective to understand from their memories, how the students of the Pedagogy course at a federal university think about the conception of childhood. This was followed by the methodological path of exploratory research, adopting content analysis as a technique. The data were generated by questionnaires applied to students who took the discipline at a later time and who, during data collection, were in the condition of trainees in the second semester of 2018. At the end, it was possible to conclude that, among the participating students, the understanding of childhood as a category crossed by social, political and economic conditions was unanimous. And understanding that children are constituted in a historical and cultural way is of paramount importance for the pedagogical practice in early childhood education. |

Hacemos hincapié en el niño en dos condiciones: legal, concepción del ciudadano, sujeto de los derechos anunciados en los documentos, y el niño encarnado, es decir, el que se constituye a través de la interacción con las dimensiones de materialidad histórica, social, cultural y espacial. Argumentamos que pensar a los niños en estas dimensiones es importante para la educación inicial del maestro, por lo que asumimos como objetivo comprender desde sus recuerdos cómo piensan los estudiantes del curso de Pedagogía en una universidad federal sobre la concepción de la infancia. Esto fue seguido por el camino metodológico de la investigación exploratoria, adoptando el análisis de contenido como técnica. Los datos fueron generados por cuestionarios aplicados a estudiantes que tomaron la disciplina en un momento posterior y que, durante la recopilación de datos, estaban en condición de aprendices en el segundo semestre de 2018. Al final, fue posible concluir que, entre los estudiantes participantes, La comprensión de la infancia como una categoría cruzada por las condiciones sociales, políticas y económicas fue unánime. Y comprender que los niños están constituidos de manera histórica y cultural es de suma importancia para la práctica pedagógica en la educación de la primera infancia.Adotamos, como referenciais teórico-metodológicos a legislação vigente para a educação infantil e trabalhos de autores que tratam dessa temática. Enfatizamos a criança em duas condições: legal, concepção de cidadã, sujeito de direitos anunciada nos documentos, e a criança encarnada, ou seja, aquela que se constitui através da interação com as dimensões da materialidade histórica, social, cultural e espacial. Defendemos que pensar as crianças por essas dimensões é importante para a formação inicial do professor, por isso, assumimos como objetivo compreender a partir de suas lembranças, como os estudantes do curso de Pedagogia de uma universidade federal pensam a concepção de infância. Seguiu-se pelo percurso metodológico da pesquisa exploratória, adotando como técnica a análise de conteúdo. Os dados foram gerados por questionários aplicados aos estudantes que cursaram a disciplina em momento posterior e que, durante a coleta de dados, estavam na condição de formandos no segundo semestre de 2018. Ao final, foi possível concluir que, entre os estudantes participantes, o entendimento da infância como categoria atravessada pelas condições sociais, políticas e econômicas era uma unanimidade.
