A PORTRAIT OF RESEARCH ON SOCIOLOGY TEXTBOOKS IN BRAZIL

Resumo: The article presents the state of the art of Brazilian manual production that takes as an object or source of research textbooks (or manuals) of Social Sciences (Sociology, Anthropology and Political Science). Constituent aspects of this production are analyzed, such as the profile of the authors, the focus of the research, their methods, their techniques and main references. It was evident that the volume of articles on the topic in question has expanded since 2014. The journals where the articles were published are, if most of them, qualified in lower strata in the Qualis-Periódicos assessment and located in the Southeast and South Regions. Regarding the profile of the authors, the following characteristics predominate: a) women; b) doctoral degree and; c) Sociology title area. As for the articles, the following aspects predominate: a) focus on the internal analysis of textbooks; b) type of research and content analysis; c) reduced concern with methodological reflections in the field of manuals. References are varied, with no internal citation network in this research subfield, since only three authors are considerably cited by the set of published articles.

Se analizan aspectos constitutivos de esta producción, como el perfil de los autores y autores, los focos de investigación, sus métodos, sus técnicas y referencias principales. Se evidó que el volumen de artículos sobre el tema en cuestión presentaba una expansión a partir de 2014. Las revistas donde se publicaron los artículos están, si la mayoría, calificadas en estratos inferiores en la evaluación Qualis-Periódica y ubicadas en las regiones Sureste y Sur. En cuanto al perfil de los autores, predominan las siguientes características: a) mujeres; b) doctorado y doctorado; c) área de sociología. En cuanto a los artículos, predominan los siguientes aspectos: a) recortes centrados en el análisis interno de los libros de texto; b) el tipo de búsquedas en el análisis de contenido y; c) menor preocupación por las reflexiones metodológicas del campo manualítico. Las referencias son variadas, sin incluir una red interna de citas en este subcampo de investigación, ya que sólo tres autores son citados considerablemente por el conjunto de artículos publicados.O artigo apresenta o estado da arte da produção manualística brasileira que toma como objeto ou fonte de pesquisa livros didáticos (ou manuais) de Ciências Sociais (Sociologia, Antropologia e Ciência Política). São analisados aspectos constituintes dessa produção, tais como perfil dos autores e das autoras, os focos das pesquisas, seus métodos, suas técnicas  e principais referências. Ficou evidenciado que o volume de artigos sobre o tema em questão apresentou uma expansão a partir de 2014. As revistas onde os artigos foram publicados são, se sua maioria, qualificados em estratos inferiores na avaliação Qualis-Periódicos e localizadas nas Regiões Sudeste e Sul. Quanto ao perfil dos/as autores/as, predominam as seguintes características: a) mulheres; b) titulação de doutorado e; c) área de titulação a Sociologia. Quanto aos artigos, predominam os seguintes aspectos: a) recorte voltado à análise interna dos livros didáticos; b) tipo de pesquisas a análise de conteúdo e; c) reduzida preocupação com reflexões metodológicas do campo da manualítica.
