Mathematics teachers' discourses on teaching geometry with the use of digital technologies

Resumo: Geometry is one of the fields of mathematics [...]. In this context, this research aims to understand the discourse of mathematics teachers, from a course of Specialization in Mathematics, about teaching geometry with the use of digital technologies, from the analysis of activities proposed during the course Analytic and Dynamic Geometry. The analysis happened by reading the teachers' interactions in three activities proposed in the course, resulting in two axes: first, dealing with digital technologies in geometry teaching, and second, which will be focused on this article, dealing with concepts, constructions, and abstractions in geometry teaching with the use of digital technologies. The study raised that it is essential to contemplate in the process of initial and continuing education discussions and experiences so that teachers have the appropriation to work pedagogically with digital technologies linked to mathematics. Nesse contexto, essa pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender o discurso de professores de Matemática, de um curso de Especialização em Matemática, sobre o ensinar geometria com a utilização de tecnologias digitais, a partir da análise de atividades propostas ao longo da disciplina de Geometria Analítica e Dinâmica. A análise aconteceu pela leitura das interações dos professores em três atividades propostas na disciplina, resultando em dois eixos: primeiro tratando das tecnologias digitais no ensino de geometria, e segundo, que será focado nesse artigo, abordando os conceitos, construções e abstrações no ensino de geometria com o uso de tecnologias digitais. O estudo suscitou que é fundamental contemplar no processo de formação inicial e continuada discussões e vivências para que os professores possuam apropriação para trabalhar pedagogicamente com as tecnologias digitais atreladas a Matemática.
