Educational technologies in nursing graduation: a driving force of the teaching process

Resumo: The aim of this study is to identify the use of participatory educational technologies in nursing graduation.Qualitative study, exploratory and descriptive. The research participants were 12 permanent staff and 17 studentsregularly enrolled in the nursing course of a private university, located in the Municipality of Nova Iguaçu,State of Rio de Janeiro. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, group dynamics and simpleobservation. The research was authorized by the institution and submitted to the Ethics Committee under No.35030314.30000.5243. Data analysis revealed that teachers and students recognize the need for the insertionof new educational technologies that make the teaching and learning process more dynamic and enjoyable. Itconcluded that it is necessary to encourage refl ection and criticism of future professionals in order to improveteaching and health practices.Keywords: Nursing; Educational Technologies; Education.
