USER SATISFACTION ASSESSMENT IN PRIMARY HEALTH CARE

Resumo: Objective: to assess the satisfaction of users of primary health care in a municipality in the Brazilian countryside. Method: a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach carried out with users from two Family Health teams of a Basic Health Unit. Data were obtained through the application of the European Task Force on Patient Evaluation of General Practice Care (EUROPEP) questionnaire, containing questions regarding three Indicators, among them, Key Indicators; Indicators of Specific Areas of Satisfaction; Indicators User Data. After collection, the data were organized in an Excel spreadsheet for Windows and descriptively analyzed using the Epi Info software. Results: of the 225 responding users, 82.74% were women, with a mean age of 41.6 years, and predominantly incomplete high school 30.53%. The analysis of user satisfaction in relation to primary health care showed that the “Approach to emotional issues related to the health problem” and the question of the professionals’ home visit obtained unsatisfactory responses with 52.65% and 80.97 %, respectively. Indicators of Specific Areas of Satisfaction were generally positively assessed. Conclusion: it was concluded that the results of the assessment of the quality of care provided to the population in the unit linked to the FHS were diagnosed as positive, although some aspects were assessed as unsatisfactory, users mostly expressed satisfaction with the service, considering the interfaces analyzed in the research. Therefore, it should be noted that despite the positive satisfaction, it is important to improve the general service offered to the population.

Método: estudio transversal con abordaje cuantitativo, realizado con usuarios de dos equipos de Salud de la Familia de una Unidad Básica de Salud. Los datos fueron obtenidos a través de la aplicación del cuestionario European Task Force on Patient Evaluation of General Practice Care (EUROPEP), que contiene preguntas sobre tres Indicadores. Después de la recolección, los datos se organizaron en una hoja de cálculo de Excel para Windows y se analizaron descriptivamente utilizando el programa Epi Info. Resultados: de los 225 usuarios que respondieron, el 82.74% eran mujeres, con una edad media de 41.6 años, nivel educativo con predominio de secundaria incompleta 30.53%. El análisis de la satisfacción de los usuarios con relación a los cuidados en la atención primaria a la salud mostró que el “Abordaje de las cuestiones emocionales relacionadas con el problema de salud” y la pregunta de la visita domiciliaria de los profesionales, obtuvieron respuestas insatisfactorias con 52.65% y 80.97 % respectivamente. Los indicadores de Áreas Específicas de satisfacción en general fueron evaluados positivamente. Conclusión: se concluye con el diagnóstico de resultados positivos en la evaluación de la calidad de atención brindada a la población en la unidad vinculada a la ESF, aunque algunos aspectos han sido evaluados como insatisfactorios, los usuarios en su mayoría expresan satisfacción con el servicio evaluado, consideran do las interfaces analizadas en la investigación. Objetivo: avaliar a satisfação das pessoas usuárias na atenção primária à saúde em um minicípio do interior brasileiro. Método: estudo transversal de abordagem quantitativa, realizado com usuários de duas equipes de Saúde da Família de uma Unidade Básica de Saúde. Os dados foram obtidos por meio da aplicação do questionário European Task Force on Patient Evaluation of General Practice Care (EUROPEP), contendo perguntas em relação a três Indicadores, dentre eles, Indicadores Chaves; Indicadores de Áreas específicas de satisfação; Indicadores Dados dos Usuários. Após coleta, os dados foram organizados em planilha de Excel for Windows e analisados descritivamente por meio de programa Epi Info. Resultados: dos 225 usuários respondentes, 82,74% eram mulheres, com a média de idade de 41,6, grau de escolaridade com predomínio do ensino médio incompleto 30,53%. A análise da satisfação do usuário em relação aos cuidados na atenção primária a saúde, evidenciou que a “Abordagem das questões emocionais relacionado ao problema de saúde” e questão da visita domiciliar dos profissionais, obtiveram respostas insatisfatória com 52,65% e 80,97% respetivamente. Indicadores de Áreas Específicas de satisfação, foram no geral avaliados positivamente. Conclusão: conclui-se com o diagnóstico dos resultados positivos na avaliação da qualidade do atendimento prestado à população na unidade vinculado a ESF, apesar de alguns aspectos terem sido avaliados como não satisfatório, os usuários majoritariamente expressam satisfação com o serviço avaliado, considerando as interfaces analisadas na pesquisa.
