Resumo: O presente trabalho tem como objetivo, definir o fomento mercantil, distinguir sua atuação legal e a ilicitude fantasiada de fomento mercantil, bem como a responsabilidade dos agentes derivados dessa relação. Ademais, demonstrar a importância do fomento mercantil perante a sociedade, especialmente para os comerciantes e operadores financeiros.
