Resumo: Innovation is an important competitive differential in the context of the age of knowledge and digital transformation. Knowledge Management (KM), promotes, through the creation and sharing of ideas, a favorable environment for innovation. However, for this situation, it is necessary for the organization to have an organizational culture that fosters KM. This research identified in the literature the elements of organizational culture that impact KM for process innovation in services. After, a questionnaire was applied to verify which of these cultural elements acted as barriers or stimuli to KM in a large financial institution. The elements risk aversion, autonomy, adaptability and partially leadership, appeared as barriers to KM. Collaboration was identified as an element that stimulates KM. After analyzing the results, actions were suggested to overcome barriers and reinforce the elements of organizational culture that stimulate KM for process innovation in services.
