Area of flat figures: a panorama of brazilian production stricto sensu of the Teaching area (1998-2019)

Resumo: The goal of this manuscript is to map and analyze Brazilian thesis and dissertations in the field of Teaching, available in the “Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações” (BDTD) and in the catalogue of thesis and dissertations from the “Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior” (CAPES), that have as focus of study the concept of area of plane figures, considering institutional and procedural aspects. For that, the corpus of the analysis is constituted by 54 productions identified within the period ranging from 1998 to 2019, and assumptions of a qualitative research of the mapping kind are adopted. Among the results, it is highlighted that the number of investigations stricto sensu on plane figures area has been increasing over the years. The biggest quantity is originated from higher education institutions belonging to the south-east and north-east regions of Brazil, from academic master degree courses, followed by professional master degree courses and doctorates. It is noticed that 30 out of 54 mapped researches developed didactic sequences, yet in the data production, are also identified analysis of: classroom notebooks from students and/or teachers, books and/or teaching materials, microworld, thesis and/or dissertations, teaching orienting activities, interviews, formation processes, projects, tests, among others. From the 30 studies, 11 have developed the didactic sequence with the support of some software of dynamic geometry in the elementary education.

From the 30 studies, 11 have developed the didactic sequence with the support of some software of dynamic geometry in the elementary education.El propósito de este artículo es mapear y analizar las tesis y disertaciones brasileñas en el área de Educación, disponibles en la Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones (BDTD) y en el catálogo de tesis y disertaciones de la Coordinación para el Perfeccionamiento del Personal de Educación Superior (CAPES), que tienen como foco de estudio el concepto de área de figuras planas, considerando aspectos institucionales y procedimentales. Por tanto, el corpus de análisis consta de 54 producciones identificadas en el período 1998-2019 e se adoptan los supuestos de una investigación cualitativa del tipo cartográfico. Entre los resultados, cabe señalar que el número de investigaciones stricto sensu en el área de figuras planas ha ido aumentando a lo largo de los años. La mayor cantidad proviene de instituciones de educación superior en las regiones sureste y noreste de Brasil, de maestrías académicas seguidas de maestrías y doctorados profesionales. Parece que 30 de las 54 investigaciones mapeadas desarrollaron secuencias didácticas, pero en la producción de datos, análisis de: cuadernos de alumnos y / o docentes, libros y / o materiales didácticos, micromundo, tesis y / o o disertaciones, actividades de orientación docente, entrevistas, procesos formativos, proyectos, pruebas, entre otros. De las 30 encuestas, 11 desarrollaron secuencia didáctica con el apoyo de algún software de geometría dinámica en Educación Básica.O objetivo deste artigo é mapear e analisar teses e dissertações brasileiras da área de Ensino, disponíveis na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD) e no catálogo de teses e dissertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), que possuem como foco de estudo o conceito de área de figuras planas, considerando aspectos institucionais e procedimentais. Para tanto, o corpus de análise é constituído por 54 produções identificadas no período 1998-2019 e adotam-se pressupostos de uma pesquisa qualitativa do tipo mapeamento. Dentre os resultados destaca-se que o número de investigações stricto sensu sobre área de figuras planas vem aumentando ao longo dos anos. A maior quantidade é proveniente de instituições de ensino superior pertencentes às regiões sudeste e nordeste do Brasil, de mestrados acadêmicos seguida por mestrados profissionais e doutorados. Constata-se que 30 das 54 pesquisas mapeadas desenvolveram sequências didáticas, mas na produção de dados também são identificadas análise de: cadernos de aula de alunos e/ou professores, livros e/ou materiais didáticos, micromundo, teses  dissertações, atividades orientadoras de ensino, entrevistas, processos formativos, projetos, testes, entre outros.
