Resumo: The aim of this essay is to bring the perspective of reflective training of the teacher and head of nursing closer to the contributions of the theoretical assumptions of Science, Technology and Society (STS) education for Continuing Teacher Education and training of future nurses through the demands of the 21st century. This is a theoretical essay on the construction of knowledge from the reflective exercise of know and pedagogical practice in and from school to professional practice in health care. The approximations point to the relevance of social and political dimensions, democratic and emancipatory tendency, conceptual aspects and social practice contemplated in the reflective training of the nurse teacher based on the STS education.

Este es un ensayo teórico sobre la construcción del conocimiento desde el ejercicio reflexivo del saber y la práctica profesional en salud. Las aproximaciones apuntan para la relevancia de las dimensiones sociales y políticas, de tendencia democrática y emancipatoria, de los aspectos conceptuales y de la práctica social contemplados en la formación reflexiva de los profesores de enfermería a partir de la educación CTS.O objetivo deste ensaio é aproximar a perspectiva da formação reflexiva do professor e do chefe de Enfermagem às contribuições dos pressupostos teóricos da educação Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade (CTS) para a Formação Continuada docente e formação do futuro enfermeiro mediante as demandas do século XXI. Trata-se de um ensaio teórico sobre a construção de conhecimentos a partir do exercício reflexivo do saber e do fazer pedagógico na e da escola à prática profissional na assistência em saúde.
