Resumo: | Current studies portray the efficiency and effectiveness of using the Science Teaching by Research (EnCI) approach in the student learning teaching process and the absence of its use in the practice of some teachers. Thus, the research was conducted with teachers qualified in Science who teach the discipline in public schools, in the municipalities of São Pedro da Cipa-MT and Jaciara-MT, in 2019. It aimed to identify and list which elements of EnCI are used in the pedagogical practice of these teachers, the description of these elements and their potentialities in the learning process. Through the qualitative descriptive-exploratory research with data collection, through observations using the DEEnCI tool, he found that even with the lack of knowledge, these professionals have some of the elements of EnCI in their practice, however, in a way fragmented characterizing investigative activities. |

Así, la investigación fue realizada con profesores calificados en Ciencias que enseñan la materia en escuelas públicas, en los municipios de São Pedro da Cipa-MT y Jaciara-MT, en el año 2019. Tuvo como objetivo identificar y enumerar qué elementos de la EnCI se utilizan en la práctica pedagógica de estos docentes, la descripción de estos elementos y sus potencialidades en el proceso de aprendizaje. Se realizó, a través de una investigación descriptiva-exploratoria de carácter cualitativo con recolección de datos, a través de observaciones utilizando la herramienta Diagnóstico de Elementos de la Enseñanza de las Ciencias por la Investigación (DEEnCI), a lo que se contactó que aun con el desconocimiento, estos profesionales tienen algunos de los elementos del EnCI en su práctica, sin embargo, de manera fragmentada, caracterizando erróneamente las actividades investigativas.Estudos atuais retratam a eficiência e eficácia da abordagem do Ensino de Ciências por Investigação (EnCI) no processo de ensino-aprendizagem de estudantes e a ausência da utilização na prática de alguns docentes. Assim, esta pesquisa foi realizada com professores habilitados em Ciências que lecionam a disciplina em escolas públicas, nos municípios de São Pedro da Cipa-MT e Jaciara-MT, no ano de 2019. Teve como objetivo identificar e elencar quais os elementos do EnCI são utilizados na prática pedagógica desses professores, a descrição desses elementos e suas potencialidades no processo de aprendizagem.
