The history of Science and interdisciplinarity: a possible link in Science teaching

Resumo: | This article theoretically discusses the potential of the relationship between interdisciplinarity and the History of Science in the teaching of natural sciences, to a science teaching that focus on criticality and reflection. The authors studied expose the urgency of paying attention to science teaching in order to understand that students construct visions of science through their classes, sometimes traditional and unreflecting views. The methodology used for the development of this work was the bibliographic research, regarding to the History of Science and interdisciplinarity and, from such considerations, we conclude that the current scenario requires the attention of education researchers, especially to science teaching that addresses its historicity and its connection with the different areas of knowledge, paying attention to the interdisciplinary aspect of the History of Science; this being an opportunity for the science teaching developing a critical and reflective attitude towards scientific knowledge. |

Los autores estudiados presentan la urgencia de apreciación de la enseñanza de las ciencias buscando comprender que los estudiantes construyen visiones sobre las ciencias a través de sus clases, visiones a veces tradicionales y poco reflexivas. La metodología utilizada para el desarrollo de este trabajo fue la investigación bibliográfica, referente a la Historia de las Ciencias y la interdisciplinariedad, y, a partir de estas consideraciones, concluimos que el escenario actual requiere atención de los investigadores en educación, especialmente sobre la enseñanza de la ciencia que aborde su historicidad y relaciones con las diferentes áreas del conocimiento, atendiendo al aspecto interdisciplinario de la Historia de las Ciencias, con la intención de una enseñanza que desarrolle una actitud crítica y reflexiva hacia el conocimiento científico.O presente artigo discute de forma teórica o potencial da interdisciplinaridade e a História das Ciências no ensino de ciências naturais, com vistas à educação que valorize a criticidade e a reflexão. Os autores estudados expõem a urgência de nos atentarmos para um ensino de ciências de modo a compreendermos que os estudantes constroem visões da ciência por meio de suas aulas, visões estas, por vezes, tradicionais e pouco reflexivas.
