Team-based Learning methodological approach: facilitating strategy for teaching Cosmology

Resumo: Cosmology is complex, however, it is possible to study it without complicated technical concepts, using active methodologies. Thus, an application of Cosmology was thought of in an Integrated High School class at the Federal Institute of Ceará through the active methodology Team-Based Learning (TBL), based on the Cosmology contents present in the collection of textbooks used. The objective of this article is to demonstrate whether TBL favors a better learning of Cosmology, considering the importance of approaching the concepts of this science in textbook collections. The results reveal that, for the teaching of Cosmology, it is necessary to use active methodologies, and not just use strategies such as the expository class present in the Textbook. Therefore, the exploration of Cosmology Teaching in science classes is defended, since Cosmology enriches and sharpens the students' minds.

Así, se pensó en una aplicación de la Cosmología en una clase de Enseñanza Media Integrada del Instituto Federal de Ceará a través de la metodología activa Team-Based Learning (TBL), a partir de los contenidos de Cosmología presentes en el acervo de libros de texto utilizados. El objetivo de este artículo es demostrar si TBL favorece un mejor aprendizaje de la Cosmología, considerando la importancia de abordar los conceptos de esta ciencia en las colecciones de libros de texto. Los resultados revelan que, para la enseñanza de la Cosmología, es necesario utilizar metodologías activas, y no solo utilizar estrategias como la clase expositiva presente en el Libro de Texto. Por lo tanto, se defiende la exploración de la Enseñanza de la Cosmología en las clases de ciencias, ya que la Cosmología enriquece y agudiza la mente de los alumnos.A Cosmologia é complexa, todavia, é possível estudá-la sem complicados conceitos técnicos, utilizando as metodologias ativas. Assim, pensou-se em uma aplicação da Cosmologia numa turma de Ensino Médio Integrado do Instituto Federal do Ceará por meio da metodologia ativa Team-Based Learning (TBL), a partir dos conteúdos de Cosmologia presentes na coleção de livros didáticos utilizada. O objetivo deste artigo é evidenciar se a TBL favorece um melhor aprendizado de Cosmologia, considerando a importância da abordagem dos conceitos dessa ciência em coleções de livros didáticos. Os resultados revelam que, para o ensino de Cosmologia, é necessário o uso de metodologias ativas, e não apenas utilizar estratégias como a aula expositiva presente no Livro Didático.
