Resumo: | The general objective of this study was to analyze the curriculum of the Degree in Rural Education with qualifications in Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia, in order to observe and reflect on how it is structured and how it materializes in practice. as an instrument of emancipation and against hegemony. Thus, we carried out documental research, of a qualitative nature, whose data were collected from an in-depth reading of the Pedagogical Project of the Course and analyzed through Discursive Textual Analysis. The study revealed that the course curriculum manages to discuss and materialize the historical memory of the struggles undertaken by peasant social movements. In addition to favoring students to be protagonists of the knowledge construction process, in order to foster critical awareness and transformative social praxis, so relevant to the promotion of emancipation and counter-hegemony of these students. |

Así, realizamos una investigación documental, de carácter cualitativo, cuyos datos fueron recolectados a partir de una lectura en profundidad del Proyecto Pedagógico del Curso y analizados a través del Análisis Discursivo Textual. El estudio reveló que el currículo del curso logra discutir y materializar la memoria histórica de las luchas emprendidas por los movimientos sociales campesinos. Además de favorecer que los estudiantes sean protagonistas del proceso de construcción del conocimiento, con el fin de fomentar la conciencia crítica y la praxis social transformadora, tan relevantes para la promoción de la emancipación y la contrahegemonía de estos estudiantes.O objetivo geral deste estudo foi analisar o currículo do curso de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo com habilitações em Ciências da Natureza e Matemática da Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia, no intuito de observar e refletir sobre como este está estruturado e como se materializa na prática, enquanto instrumento de emancipação e contra hegemonia. Assim, realizamos uma pesquisa documental, de natureza qualitativa, cujos dados foram coletados a partir da leitura em profundidade do Projeto Pedagógico do Curso, e analisados por meio da Análise Textual Discursiva. O estudo nos revelou que o currículo do curso consegue discutir e materializar a memória histórica das lutas empreendidas pelos movimentos sociais campesinos.
