The mediators museal knowledge

Resumo: | Museal knowledge, are knowledges related to non-formal education spaces, from their objects and the scientific knowledge attached to them, as well as the interactions/communications that occur within museums. In this article, a study involving seven mediators from a non-formal education space was carried out, in order to analyze their speeches related to the knowledge used in visits and their conceptions about the museum and the training of mediators. For this, the mediators were accompanied on visits of school groups in the museum and interviewed. From the collected data, and theoretical references on teaching and museal knowledge, the Knowledge of Museal Mediators was built. These knowledges go back to meanings coming from the speeches of the interviews and mediated visits, enabling new meanings for their speeches. The study suggests a new classification of museal knowledges, through the analysis of mediators’ speeches, which can promote a reflection in the use of methodologies and teaching-learning practices used in museums, as well as the use of such knowledges for the training of professionals both in universities and in these spaces. |

Neste artigo foi realizado estudo envolvendo sete mediadores de um espaço de educação não formal, com o objetivo de analisar seus discursos relativos aos saberes utilizados na visitação, e suas concepções sobre o museu e a formação de mediadores. Para tanto, os mediadores foram acompanhados em visitas de grupos escolares ao local, e entrevistados. A partir dos dados coletados e dos referenciais teóricos sobre saberes docentes e de museus, foram construídos os Saberes dos Mediadores Museais. Estes saberes remontam significados oriundos das falas provindas de entrevistas e das visitas mediadas, possibilitando novos significados para seus discursos.
