Scientific and technological literacy under the approach of Science, Technology and Society (cts): implications for the curriculum, the education and the teachers formation

Resumo: This work resulted from a study of some concepts related to Science, Technology and Sociedade (CTS), especially with regard to the Nature of Science and Technology (NdC&T) and the Scientific and Technological Literacy (AC&T), conceived as a right to be guaranteed in the formation of all citizen. It is especially distinguished the concepts developed for Kyle (1995), Bybee (1997), OEI (1999) and Kemp (2002), defended by Acevedo-Díaz, Vázquez e Manassero (2003). The study reinforces the urgency of including AC&T in school curricula of all levels of education, especially in the course of teachers formation (Undergraduate).
