O presente trabalho apresenta e discute os resultados obtidos do desenvolvimento do projeto de pesquisa intitulado: "Docência universitária numa perspectiva inclusiva: concepções e práticas no ensino superior". Fazendo um recorte desse projeto maior, trata da participação de 27docentes universitários do curso de Pedagogia, em dedicação exclusiva, da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU/MG -, quanto a algumas questões que abarcam a educação inclusiva no ensino superior. Tem como objetivo principal sinalizar: 1) as concepções de deficiência; 2) a formação de professores; e 3) o processo de ensino-aprendizagem destes professores em educação inclusiva. A partir dessas três categorias, construiu-se um questionário com 15 questões, exploradas, estatisticamente, com a utilização do instrumento de análise SPSS 16.0. Deste modo, o artigo apresenta o desenho da pesquisa quanto à sua fundamentação teórica, à metodologia utilizada e à apresentação e discussão dos dados. Conclui-se, do exposto, que, dentre outros fatores, os sujeitos pesquisados evidenciam uma concepção difusa com relação à educação inclusiva. Palavras-chave: Educação Especial. Abstract This research shows the presentation and discussion of the results obtained from the development of a research project entitled: “University teaching from an inclusive perspective: concepts and practices in higher education.” This project has the participation of 27 university teachers of Pedagogy course of the Federal University of Uberlândia-UFU/MG, on some issues covering inclusive education in higher education. It has as main objective to draw attention to: 1) the concepts of disability; 2) teacher training and 3) the teaching and learning process of those teachers on inclusive education. Within these three categories defined for the research, a questionnaire with 15 questions statistically explored by the use of the analysis tool SPSS 16.0 was conducted. Thus this article presents the research design and its theoretical basis, the methodology used, and data presentation and discussion. In conclusion, we perceive that, among other factors, the respondents have a misconception of inclusive education. Keywords: Special. University teaching. Inclusion. Education.
