Teaching processes and fashion language: reading and interpretation of symbolic codes in the process of clothes creation

Resumo: Making use of the syntactic elements of design, especially colors, shapes and textures, messages are expressed through clothing that elucidate individual and collective identities and also the designer's perspectives of the world. With the aim of showing the results of an activity carried out in a Fashion History discipline executed in a Fashion Degree course, this article intended to constitute a plot between theory and practice from the application of the contents taught in the classroom in the creative process of the students through the production of a semantic panel, and from this, to stimulate the decoding of symbolic codes for the creation of a fashion design. For this purpose, it is an applied research, with a qualitative approach and descriptive treatment. The activity was based on the methodology of meaningful learning, in which the new contents assimilated by the students are put into practice in amalgamation with those they already possessed. Thus, it can be evidenced that among the four examples presented, it is remarkable the existence of an alignment between the contents transmitted in class, the visual panels and the sketches drawn, being possible to conclude that meaningful learning was stimulated through the integration of knowledge in an integrated and transversal way.

Con el objetivo de mostrar los resultados de una actividad realizada en una disciplina de Historia de la Moda ejecutada en un curso de Licenciatura en Moda, este artículo pretendió constituir una trama entre la teoría y la práctica a partir de la aplicación de los contenidos impartidos en el aula en el proceso creativo de los alumnos a través de la producción de un panel semántico, y a partir de ello, estimular la decodificación de códigos simbólicos para la creación de un diseño de moda. Para ello, se trata de una investigación aplicada, con enfoque cualitativo y tratamiento descriptivo. La actividad se apoyó en la metodología del aprendizaje significativo, en la que los nuevos contenidos asimilados por los alumnos son puestos en práctica en amalgama con los que ya poseían. Así, se puede evidenciar que entre los cuatro ejemplos presentados, es notable la existencia de una alineación entre los contenidos transmitidos en clase, los paneles visuales y los bocetos dibujados, siendo posible concluir que se estimuló el aprendizaje significativo a través de la integración de conocimientos de forma integrada y transversal.Fazendo uso de elementos sintáticos do design, sobretudo das cores, formas e texturas, são expressas pelo vestuário mensagens que elucidam identidades individuais e coletivas e também as perspectivas que o designer tem do mundo. Visando exibir os resultados de uma atividade realizada em uma disciplina de História da Moda executada em um curso de Bacharelado em Moda, esse artigo objetivou constituir uma trama entre a teoria e a prática a partir da aplicação do conteúdo ensinado em sala de aula no processo criativo dos discentes por meio da produção de um painel semântico, e deste, estimulando a decodificação de códigos simbólicos para a criação de um desenho de moda. Para tal, trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza aplicada, com abordagem qualitativa e tratamento descritivo. A atividade foi respaldada na metodologia da aprendizagem significativa, em que os novos conteúdos assimilados pelos alunos são colocados em prática em amálgama com os que eles já possuíam.
