Teaching the Visual Arts in a pandemic context: Interlocutions for Emergency Remote Teaching

Resumo: The article discusses the Teaching of Visual Arts, from a school in Betim-MG, during the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus. The activities offered, at first, can be taken as a starting point to reflect on the challenges that are emerging in relation to the construction of knowledge in Art in the context of Emergency Remote Teaching. This article seeks to resume the debate of some relevant aspects of Art Teaching, such as the Triangular Approach, the potential of unforeseen events and the experiences brought by students to provide significant learning opportunities, extended objects, the incitement to artistic creation through Contemporary Art, Installation as an artistic praxis leading to the deconstruction of spaces and ideas in the domestic environment. Finally, some distinctions between Emergency Remote Teaching and Distance Education are presented, concluding that the interaction, especially the one carried out in person between individuals, has a central role in the process of internalization of knowledge. The main authors worked are Antunes (2020), Pimentel (2011), Zamperetti (2021) among others.

Las actividades ofrecidas, en un primer momento, pueden tomarse como punto de partida para reflexionar sobre los desafíos que se van planteando en relación a la construcción del conocimiento en Arte en el contexto de la Enseñanza Remota de Emergencia. Este artículo busca retomar el debate de algunos aspectos relevantes de la Enseñanza del Arte, como el Enfoque Triangular, la potencialidad de los imprevistos y de las experiencias traídas por los estudiantes para brindar oportunidades de aprendizaje significativo, los objetos extendidos, la incitación a la creación artística a través del Arte Contemporáneo, la Instalación como praxis artística que conduce a la deconstrucción de espacios e ideas en el ámbito doméstico. Finalmente, se presentan algunas distinciones entre la Enseñanza Remota de Emergencia y la Educación a Distancia, concluyendo que la interacción, especialmente la que se realiza presencialmente entre individuos, tiene un papel central en el proceso de interiorización del conocimiento. Los principales autores trabajados son Antunes (2020), Pimentel (2011), Zamperetti (2021) entre otros.O artigo discute o Ensino de Artes Visuais, a partir de uma escola em Betim-MG, durante a pandemia causada pelo novo coronavírus. As atividades oferecidas, em um primeiro momento, podem ser tomadas como ponto de partida para refletir sobre os desafios que estão surgindo em relação à construção do conhecimento em Arte no contexto do Ensino Remoto Emergencial. Este artigo busca retomar o debate de alguns aspectos relevantes ao Ensino de Arte, como a Abordagem Triangular, a potencialidade dos imprevistos e das experiências trazidas pelos educandos para oportunizar aprendizagens significativas, os objetos estendidos, a incitação à criação artística por meio da Arte Contemporânea, a Instalação como práxis artística levando a desconstrução de espaços e ideias no ambiente doméstico. Por fim, apresenta-se algumas distinções entre o Ensino Remoto Emergencial e a Educação a Distância, concluindo que a interação, sobretudo, a realizada presencialmente entre os indivíduos, tem uma função central no processo de internalização do conhecimento.
